Monastery Dead is a death metal cult from Saint-Petersburg (Russia) created in 2004. The quartet has a vivid history and shared the stage with such monsters of extreme music as Haemorrhage, Dying Fetus, Fleshless, Amagortis, Debauchery, Benighted, Impaled Nazarene, Unleashed and many others in Russia and abroad.
